Go to the Kinect Settings page: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Kinect. On the Kinect Settings page, make sure Kinect on is selected. Stay on this page for 5 minutes to make sure your console completes any available updates.
Kinect 360 will have some problems if you're using Windows 10. If Skanect doesn't work for you I recommend using Scenect, it's a free software for scanning [mostly] rooms and big objects. Before installation remove your kinect drivers and install the ones in Scenect installer. I don't know if this is true anymore.
